SB 1153: RELATING TO CAMPAIGN SIGNS.

Prohibits a person from posting, maintaining, displaying, or erecting any sign on public property that urges voters to vote for an election candidate. Designates the candidate that the sign urges voters to vote for as the party responsible for removing the sign. Allows the Campaign Spending Commission to impose fines for violations and place a lien against the campaign account of the candidate if the sign is not removed within 2 weeks of receipt of written notice. Allows the candidate to object to written notice of removal. Requires the Campaign Spending Commission to adopt rules.

HB 1228: RELATING TO PROCUREMENT.

Provides a bidder of a public works construction project with two working days after the closing of bids to provide the name of each joint contractor or subcontractor and the nature and scope of the work to be performed by each. Allows the bidder to replace a subcontractor that is not in compliance with these requirements, provided that the price of the total bid remains the same.

SB 368: RELATING TO HUMAN SERVICES.

Requires operators of child care facilities, including family child care homes, group child care centers, and group child care homes, and infant and toddler child care centers that care for children one year of age or younger to implement and maintain safe sleep policies to prevent sudden unexpected infant deaths and sudden infant death syndrome in accordance with rules adopted by the Department of Human Services.

HB 1105: RELATING TO EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES.

Repeals the Emergency Medical Services Special Fund and deposits moneys from the fund's revenue sources into the general fund, and appropriates an equivalent amount of general funds for the Department of Health.
