SB 998: RELATING TO THE UNIFORM CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES ACT.

Updates chapter 329, Hawaii Revised Statutes as follows: amends sections 329-16 and 329-38(f) to be consistent with federal law which allows prescribing authorization of drugs including buprenorphine and naloxone to patients undergoing detoxification treatment and maintenance treatment by practitioners who are properly registered. Requires that the collections of fines under section 329-49 be deposited into the State controlled substance registration revolving fund under section 329-59 to support the program.

HB 673: RELATING TO CHILD CARE FACILITIES.

Requires the Department of Human Services to post on its website, reports of child care facility inspections and corrective actions taken by the facility. Requires annual reporting to the Legislature on records and actions involving violation complaints. Appropriates funds. (HB673 HD1)

HB 1108: RELATING TO PARKING FOR DISABLED PERSONS.

Limits the exemption from parking meter fees to drivers with a disability who are unable to operate a parking meter because of the driver's disability and who display a distinguishing parking permit or decal that so indicates. Clarifies time limits applicable to the exemption. (HB1108 HD1)
