HB 736: RELATING TO HIGHWAY SAFETY.

Establishes the photo red light imaging detector systems program. Authorizes counties to administer the program. Requires proceeds of fines to be expended in the county from which they were collected for operation of the program. Makes an appropriation.

SB 860: RELATING TO PUBLIC AGENCY MEETINGS.

Allows two or more members, without limitation on the number of members, of a board to discuss the selection of the board's officers in private without limitation or subsequent reporting.

HB 714: RELATING TO ELECTIONS.

Authorizes the electronic transmission of databases containing driver's license and civil identification card information to election officials and the statewide voter registration system. Requires the Office of Elections to join the Electronic Registration Information Center and share information with counties to encourage voter participation and ensure integrity of voter registration rolls. Appropriates funds.

HB 688: PROPOSING AMENDMENTS TO ARTICLE VII, SECTIONS 12 AND 13, OF THE CONSTITUTION OF THE STATE OF HAWAII RELATING TO TAX INCREMENT BONDS.

Proposes amendments to the Constitution of the State of Hawaii to expressly provide that the legislature may authorize political subdivisions, such as counties, to issue tax increment bonds and to exclude tax increment bonds in calculating the debt limit of the political subdivisions.

SB 1041: RELATING TO FILM AND DIGITAL MEDIA INDUSTRY DEVELOPMENT.

Requires that any production claiming the Motion Picture, Digital Media, and Film Production Income Tax Credit provide evidence of consideration of cultural and environmental sensitivities in Hawaii and hire or contract for the services of cultural, historical, or language experts. Extends the sunset date of the Motion Picture, Digital Media, and Film Production Income Tax Credit until January 1, 2024.

SB 861: RELATING TO INFORMATION PRACTICES.

Allows the office of information practices to adopt rules that all state and county agencies subject to the Uniform Information Practices Act must follow for consistency in agency record protection responsibilities.
