HB 1323: RELATING TO HUMAN SERVICES.

Appropriates funds to the Department of Human Services for the purchase of food and other home supplies, exempt from chapters 103D and 103F, Hawaii Revised Statutes, by nonprofits that provide food and other home goods to people in need in the State.

HB 1005: RELATING TO THE SPOUSE AND CHILD ABUSE SPECIAL FUND.

Exempts the spouse and child abuse special fund from the central services assessment and administrative expense assessment. Amends the spouse and child abuse special fund to allow reimbursements received from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Administration for Children and Families, in the year following the fiscal year in which the Title IV-E funds were expended, to be deposited and expended for state-funded share of spouse or child abuse and neglect prevention, intervention, and other related services. Replaces "account" with "fund," and deletes "department of human services" from the title.

HB 1518: RELATING TO MOTIONS TO VACATE CONVICTIONS FOR PROSTITUTION-RELATED OFFENSES.

Allows a defendant convicted of one of certain prostitution offenses to file a motion to vacate the conviction if the defendant is not subsequently convicted of any offense under the penal code within twelve months after the date of the original conviction. Repeals provisions allowing a motion to vacate when the convicted person was a victim of trafficking, and related procedural requirements.

SB 1133: RELATING TO CONDOMINIUMS.

Requires developers of condominium projects in the agricultural district to declare in their public report that the project plan was disclosed and that the developer offered to, or conducted, a presentation disclosing the project plan to the respective community association or neighborhood board at least sixty days prior to registration of the project.

HB 727: RELATING TO MINIMUM WAGE.

Increases the minimum wage annually starting January 1, 2020. Beginning September 30, 2024, and thereafter, requires the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations to calculate an adjusted minimum wage rate to the nearest five cents using the Honolulu Region Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers, subject to certain conditions. Repeals the tip credit.

HB 734: RELATING TO CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES.

Requires a health care professional or pharmacist who dispenses any opioid drug to include with the drug instructions for disposing of any unused portion, along with a pre-addressed envelope or package that can be used to mail any unused portion to a medication disposal program in the State at no cost to the person to whom the drug was dispensed.
