SB 111: RELATING TO VOTING.

Provides that the ballot of an absentee or military-overseas voter is valid even if the voter becomes ineligible to vote after casting the ballot. Repeals the requirement that an absentee voter's ballot be deemed invalid if the voter returns the return envelope but dies prior to the opening of polls. Takes effect on 1/7/2059. (SD1)

SB 1039: RELATING TO PUBLIC SAFETY.

Requires the Department of Public Safety in collaboration with county and state agencies and, upon request of the inmate, to issue civil identification cards to the inmate and to assist the inmate in obtaining the inmate's birth certificate, social security card, and other relevant identification necessary for successful reentry into society. SB 306: RELATING TO REAL PROPERTY.

Clarifies that projects that contain a combination of time share interests, transient vacation rentals, and private residential units located in the same project are required to provide basic documents that will enable an owner to sell the owner's time share interest. Specifies that a plan manager of a time share owners association or vacation club board of directors must provide specific information to owners regarding candidates for election to the board of directors within thirty days prior to the election and shall not have a controlling interest on the board of directors. SB 337: RELATING TO ELECTIONS.

Provides that a candidate committee shall not be required to file a statement of information for an electioneering communication made by a candidate committee that clearly identifies the communication as being paid for by the candidate committee. Repeals the requirement that a candidate committee file a statement of information of the names and addresses of all persons who contributed to the committee or the organization for the purpose of publishing or broadcasting the electioneering communications. Excludes any advertisement by a candidate or candidate committee from the reporting requirements for electioneering communication, provided that the advertisement is in compliance with the law regarding advertisements. Takes effect on 1/7/2059. (SD1)

Allows the John A. Burns School of Medicine to continue receiving revenues from the physician workforce assessment fee until June 30, 2027, for ongoing physician workforce assessment and planning to support the recruitment and retention of physicians in the State, particularly those in rural and medically underserved areas.
