HB 2466: RELATING TO THE HAWAII EMPLOYER-UNION HEALTH BENEFITS TRUST FUND.

Prohibits the Hawaii Employer-Union Health Benefits Trust Fund (Fund) from withholding any retroactive reimbursement payable after June 30, 2013, to a retired employee-beneficiary and qualified employee-beneficiary's spouse for an income-adjusted Medicare Part B premium based on the time in which the adjustment request is made to the Fund. SB 2656: RELATING TO MEDICATION SYNCHRONIZATION.

Allows the synchronization of plan participants' medications. Requires plans, policies, contracts, or agreements that are offered by health insurers, mutual benefit societies, and health maintenance organization and provide prescription drug benefits, to apply prorated daily cost-sharing rates for prescriptions dispensed by network pharmacies for less than a thirty-day supply. Repeals 7/1/2023. Effective 7/1/2050. (SD2)

SB 2306: RELATING TO INSURANCE.

Prohibits homeowners insurers from cancelling or refusing to renew a homeowners insurance policy based solely upon an insured's requirement to obtain liability insurance coverage as a condition of licensure, temporary permission, or registration with the department of human services to operate a family child care home. HB 2098: RELATING TO SMALL BOAT HARBORS.

Authorizes the Board of Land and Natural Resources to transfer the operation, administration, management, and maintenance of the Kihei Small Boat Harbor, with some exceptions, to Kahoolawe Island Reserve Commission. Authorizes the Kahoolawe Island Reserve Commission to undertake those duties. (HB2098 HD2)
