A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Article 7 of Chapter 5 of Title 16 and Title 17 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to stalking and criminal procedure, respectively, so as to provide greater protection to victims of family violence; to define "family violence order"; to change provisions relating to arrests with and without warrants involving family violence orders; to change provisions relating to bail for persons charged with violating family violence orders; to provide for related matters; to provide for an effective date; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Article 16 of Chapter 2 of Title 20 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to students in elementary and secondary education, so as to provide for attendance with or observation of a student in a classroom situation by a parent or guardian for students who have chronic disciplinary problems or returning from expulsion or suspension; to provide for parent conferences when a student receives a failing grade on two consecutive report cards in a subject or course; to provide for proceedings against a parent or guardian who fails to attend such conference; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.
