HR 1475 creates a Joint Study Committee to examine Georgia's laws regarding modified exhaust systems on vehicles. The committee will study enforcement challenges caused by undefined noise standards, review other states' approaches (including using decibel meters), and assess whether vehicle modification services should be held accountable for excessive noise.
