Florida Statutes; Amending provisions to conform to s. 10, ch. 2022-16, LOF, which directs a reviser's bill be prepared to replace references to "Next Generation Sunshine State Standards" with "state academic standards" wherever it appears in Florida Statutes.
Florida Statutes; Amending provisions to conform to s. 7, ch. 2022-70, LOF, which directs a reviser's bill to replace references to phrases "the Southern Association of Colleges & Schools," "the Commission on Colleges of Southern Association of Colleges & Schools," & "the Southern Association of Colleges & Schools Commission on Colleges," wherever they occur in Florida Statutes, with phrase "an accrediting agency or association recognized by database created & maintained by United States DOE".

Florida Statutes; Conforms Florida Statutes to directive of Legislature in s. 9, ch. 2012-116, LOF, codified as s. 11.242(5)(j), F.S., to prepare reviser's bill to omit all statutes & laws, or parts thereof, which grant duplicative, redundant, or unused rulemaking authority.
Retirement; Revising required employer retirement contribution rates for each membership class of the Florida Retirement System; providing a declaration of important state interest, etc.
Public Records/Mobile Suspicious Activity Reporting Tool; Expanding exemptions from public records requirements for the identity of a reporting party and any information received through the mobile suspicious activity reporting tool to include such information held by the Department of Education; providing for future legislative review and repeal; providing statements of public necessity, etc.
OGSR/Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School Public Safety Commission/Safe-school Officers; Amending a provision which provides an exemption from public meetings requirements for any portion of a meeting of the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School Safety Commission at which exempt or confidential and exempt information is discussed; removing the scheduled repeal of the exemption; amending a provision relating to an exemption from public records requirements for information held by specified entities which could identify a safe-school officer; removing the scheduled repeal of the exemption, etc.
Department of Corrections; Providing criminal penalties for any volunteer or employee of a contractor or subcontractor of the Department of Corrections who engages in sexual misconduct with specified inmates or offenders; providing for a type two transfer of private correctional facilities from the Department of Management Services to the Department of Corrections, etc.
Juvenile Justice; Requiring that the secretary of the Department of Juvenile Justice oversee the establishment of the Florida Scholars Academy; requiring the academy to provide students with greater access to secondary and postsecondary educational opportunities; specifying that the academy is a component of the delivery of public education within Florida’s Early Learning-20 education system; requiring the department to provide early notice to school districts regarding the siting of new juvenile justice detention facilities, etc.
Inmate Welfare Trust Fund; Adding additional funding sources from which all proceeds must be deposited into the State-Operated Institutions Inmate Welfare Trust Fund or the General Revenue Fund; requiring that the proceeds from nonemergency health care visit copayments be deposited into the State-Operated Institutions Inmate Welfare Trust Fund or into the General Revenue Fund, etc.
Joint Session for Purpose of Receiving Governor's Message; Provides that the House of Representatives and the Senate convene in Joint Session for the purpose of receiving a message from the Governor.
