Ave Maria Stewardship Community District, Collier County; Revises boundaries of district; revises provisions relating to revenue collections & to systems, facilities, & services.
Presumptive Medicaid Eligibility for Pregnant Women; Authorizing certain entities meeting specified criteria to serve as qualified Medicaid providers for purposes of making presumptive Medicaid eligibility determinations for pregnant women; requiring the Department of Children and Families to ensure that such providers are adequately trained and monitored for compliance when serving in such roles; requiring the Agency for Health Care Administration to provide Medicaid coverage to pregnant women deemed presumptively eligible for the duration of a specified time period, etc.
Managed Care Plans; Revising Medicaid managed care contract requirements to prohibit managed care plans from reviewing certain prior authorization claims for medical necessity; requiring that managed care plans provide coverage for durable medical equipment and complex rehabilitation technology from a qualified provider, from within the provider network, of the enrollee’s choosing, etc.
Medicaid Provider Networks; Requiring Medicaid managed care plans and providers to negotiate mutually acceptable rates, methods, and terms of payment for purposes of Medicaid reimbursements; requiring plans to pay dentists at certain rates; specifying additional requirements for the provider network contracts under the statewide managed care program, etc.
Dependent Children; Requires DCF & each community-based care lead agency to coordinate with certain organizations & meet quarterly for specified purpose; authorizes such meeting to be in person or via teleconference or other electronic means; requires such meetings to have formal agenda; requires department & each community-based care lead agency to make certain information available on their respective websites; requires, beginning in specified year, department & each community-based care lead agency to publish on their respective websites biannual report containing specified information.
Specialty License Plates; Directs DHSMV to develop Miami Carol City Senior High School Alumni license plate; provides for distribution & use of fees collected from sale of plate.
