Military Service Educational Opportunities; Revises student enrollment preferences relating to certain military transfers; & revises calculation of school grades by specified date to include students who earned specified score on Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB).
PACE Center for Girls; Authorizes DJJ to contract with PACE Center for Girls for specified services.
OGSR/E-mail Addresses/Tax Notices; Removes scheduled repeal of an exemption from public records requirements for taxpayer e-mail addresses held by a tax collector for purposes of electronically sending certain tax notices or obtaining the consent of a taxpayer for electronic transmission of certain tax notices.
Athletic Trainers; Revises definition of term "athletic trainer"; revises athletic trainer licensure requirements; requires certain licensees to maintain certification in good standing without lapse as condition of renewal of their athletic trainer licenses; requires that athletic trainer work within specified scope of practice; requires direct supervision of athletic training student to be in accordance with rules adopted by Board of Athletic Training.
Elder Abuse Fatality Review Teams; Authorizes state attorney, or his or her designee, to initiate elder abuse fatality review team in his or her judicial circuit to review deaths of elderly persons; provides for membership, operations, meetings, & duties of review teams; provides reporting requirements; provides immunity from monetary liability under certain conditions.
Custody of Minor Children by Extended Family; Revises requirements for individual seeking concurrent custody; requires petition for temporary or concurrent custody to include provisions relating to best interest of child; authorizes court to include provisions relating to best interest of child in order granting temporary or concurrent custody; authorizes court to modify & establish reasonable conditions for transition of custody; requires court to consider specified factors when establishing such conditions; authorizes court to require parties to comply with specified provisions in order before terminating order.
