Moments of Silence in Public Schools; Requires moment at beginning of each school day & provides requirements for such moment of silence.
United States Constitution and the Electoral College; Reaffirms oath of office made by each member of House of Representatives to support, protect, & defend U.S. Constitution, including 12th Amendment, & supports preservation of Electoral College.
Advanced Well Stimulation Treatment; Defining the terms “high-pressure well stimulation” and “matrix acidization”; prohibiting the performance of high-pressure well stimulation or matrix acidization; providing that permits for drilling or for operating a well do not authorize the performance of high-pressure well stimulation or matrix acidization, etc.
Special Risk Class of the Florida Retirement System; Adds specified employees of DJJ who meet certain criteria to Special Risk Class of Florida Retirement System; provides declaration of important state interest.
Land Surveyors and Mappers; Deleting certain education requirements for an applicant to take the licensure examination to practice as a surveyor or mapper or to be qualified as a surveyor or mapper intern; revising licensure by endorsement requirements; revising the required continuing education hours for licensed surveyors or mappers, etc.
Local Licensing; Providing that individuals who hold valid, active local licenses may work within the scope of such licenses in any local government jurisdiction without needing to meet certain additional licensing requirements; requiring licensees to provide consumers with certain information; providing that local governments have disciplinary jurisdiction over such licensees, etc.
State Contracting; Prohibiting an agency from entering into or renewing a contract for goods or services with a company that is domiciled in a state or territory that enacts legislation establishing restrictions on abortion in violation of United States Supreme Court precedent; specifying conditions upon which legislation is deemed to be in violation of Supreme Court precedent; requiring contracts entered into or renewed on or after a specified date to authorize immediate termination of the contract if certain conditions exist, etc.
Special Risk Class of the Florida Retirement System; Adds employees of water, sewer, or other public works department of participating employer who work in certain hazardous conditions to Special Risk Class of FRS; provides declaration of important state interest.
Malt Beverages; Prohibiting certain sales of malt beverages between a distributor and vendor; authorizing bona fide returns of malt beverages under certain conditions; authorizing distributors to accept returns of certain products under specified conditions; specifying that authorized returns are not gifts, loans, or other prohibited forms of financial aid or assistance, etc.
Tax Absorption; Authorizes dealers, subject to certain conditions, to advertise or hold out to public that they will pay sales tax on behalf of purchaser.
Pub. Rec./Taxpayer Personal Identifying Information/Local Business Tax; Exempts from public records requirements certain financial & taxpayer personal identifying information held by county or municipality in connection with collection or administration of local business tax; authorizes such information be divulged under specified conditions; provides for future legislative review & repeal; provides statements of public necessity.
Real Estate; Creating the "Florida Real Estate Management Corporation Act"; requiring a written contract with the Department of Business and Professional Regulation; prohibiting the management corporation from exercising certain authority assigned to the board of directors; providing that the board, rather than the department, receive complaints and investigate and deter the unlicensed practice of real estate, etc.
