Career Planning Opportunities for Students; Requiring work-based learning opportunities to be scheduled at times and locations to maximize student access and participation; providing that a high school’s annual career fair must provide certain students the opportunity to meet and interview with certain employers; requiring a student’s personalized academic and career plan to be reviewed annually for a certain period of time and signed by certain persons; requiring the Board of Governors and the State Board of Education to adopt regulations and rules, respectively, to enable certain students to earn postsecondary credit and career education clock hours for certain training and education acquired while an apprentice or a preapprentice, etc.
Toxic Chemicals in Cosmetic Products; Prohibiting, beginning on a specified date, the manufacture, sale, offer or distribution for sale, or distribution for use of cosmetics that contain specified added chemical ingredients; requiring the Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR), in consultation with the Department of Health, to make certain determinations and make the information publicly available on its website by a specified date, etc.

Cybersecurity of Mortgage Brokers and Lenders and Money Services Businesses; Requiring licensees to develop and maintain a specified information security program; requiring licensees to make a prompt investigation of a cybersecurity event that has occurred or may occur; requiring licensees to provide a specified notice to the Office of Financial Regulation; revising the actions that constitute grounds for disciplinary actions for mortgage brokers and lenders and grounds for the issuance of a cease and desist order or removal order or the denial, suspension, or revocation of a license of a money service business, respectively, etc.
Health Insurance Claims; Prohibiting a contract between a health insurer and a physician from containing certain restrictions on payment methods; requiring a health insurer to make certain notifications and obtain a physician’s consent before paying a claim to the physician through electronic funds transfer; prohibiting a health insurer from charging a fee to transmit a payment to a physician through Automated Clearing House (ACH) transfer unless the physician has consented to such fee; prohibiting a health insurer from denying a certain claims submitted by a physician, etc.
Redemption Rights and Deeds in Lieu of Foreclosure; Citing this act as the “Redemption Procedures Improvement Act”; providing that a defendant, a property owner, or a holder of a subordinate interest in real property may cure a defendant’s indebtedness to prevent the sale of such real property; providing that the right of redemption by an owner of real property subject to redemption is not waivable; authorizing the transfer of a lien claimed to encumber real or personal property by certain persons; prohibiting a mortgagee or its designee from acquiring interest, right to legal title, or right of possession to a mortgagee’s property, etc.
Agency for Health Care Administration; Deleting the State Consumer Health Information and Policy Advisory Council; requiring memory care providers to follow specified standards of operation in providing memory care services; repealing provisions relating to special care for persons with Alzheimer’s disease or other related disorders, etc.
Fleeing or Attempting to Elude a Law Enforcement Officer; Authorizing a law enforcement agency to impound a motor vehicle driven by a person who willfully flees or attempts to elude a law enforcement officer; requiring the impounding agency to provide certain notifications; requiring the release of the impounded motor vehicle in certain circumstances, etc.
County Constitutional Officer Budget Processes; Authorizes supervisor of elections & clerk of circuit court to file budget appeal to Administration Commission; requires EOG to conduct budget hearing; authorizing specified commissions to take certain actions related to proposed budget of clerk of circuit court.
Agents of Student Athletes; Prohibiting the agent of a student athlete from receiving more than a specified percentage of the student athlete’s total compensation derived from the use of the student athlete’s name, image, or likeness; requiring an agent representing a high school student athlete to be licensed with the Department of Business and Professional Regulation, etc.
Insurance; Clarifying the prohibition related to claims for extracontractual damages; requiring that certain damages be available under and pursuant to a specified policy; prohibiting public adjusters from engaging in certain adversarial conduct; revising the circumstances under which an insurer or agent may cancel certain policies; revising the required statement by insurers issuing an insurance policy that does not provide flood insurance, etc.
