Public Accountancy; Authorizes Board of Accountancy to contract with certain corporations not for profit for performance of certain duties assigned to Division of Certified Public Accounting of DBPR; revises education & work experience requirements for certified public accountant license; requires international applicant who seeks licensure as certified public accountant in this state to meet specified criteria prescribed by board; revises requirements for approval of providers who administer continuing education on ethics for certified public accountants; revises requirements for certified public accountants licensed in another state or territory of United States to practice in this state without obtaining license.
Pregnancy Support and Wellness Services; Revises contract requirements for Florida Pregnancy Care Network, Inc.; requires DOH to conduct annual visits to each organization within network; providing requirements for visits.
Pub. Rec./Judicial Qualifications Commission Employees; Provides public records exemption for personal identifying & location information of current or former employees of Judicial Qualifications Commission & their spouse & children; provides for retroactive application; provides for future legislative review & repeal; provides statement of public necessity.
Graduation Requirements for English for Speakers of Other Languages Program Students; Authorizes certain ESOL program students to meet Algebra I end-of-course assessment requirements in specified manner.
Home Inspectors ; Revises examination & disclosure requirements for home inspectors; requires home inspectors to maintain errors & omissions insurance policy in specified amount.
County Administrators; Requiring that a county administrator be elected at certain general elections for a specified term of office in certain counties; requiring that a county administrator be an elected official under certain circumstances; requiring the Office of Economic and Demographic Research to certify the population of each county to specified persons in certain years; requiring that the first election of a county administrator occur in certain counties at a specified election, for a specified term of office, etc.
Adaptive Reuse of Land; Requiring counties and municipalities, respectively, to authorize certain allowable uses for the development of adaptive reuse projects; requiring the Adaptive Reuse Public-Private Partnership Council to perform a certain evaluation as it relates to the reduction in parking; authorizing a board of county commissioners and a municipal governing body, respectively, to adopt an ordinance for transitional housing for a specified purpose; creating the “Adaptive Reuse Initiative Act”, etc.
