Home Cultivation of Marijuana; Authorizing certain qualified patients to apply to the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services for a certificate to cultivate up to two cannabis plants for personal consumption; requiring the department to adopt rules related to such certificates, including rules for inspection and registration of each cannabis plant; providing that no more than two cannabis plants may be cultivated at a single residence regardless of the number of eligible qualified patients who reside there, etc.
Central Service Technician Services; Defines terms "central service technician" & "health care practitioner"; authorizes licensed hospitals & ambulatory surgical centers to employ or otherwise retain services of central service technician only if he or she meets specified criteria; requires central service technicians who do not meet specified criteria to obtain certain certification within specified timeframe as condition of continued employment; requires central service technicians to complete continuing education as condition of continued employment; requires hospitals & ambulatory surgical centers to, upon written request of central service technician, verify in writing technician's dates of employment or contract period with facility.

Resolution of Disputed Property Insurance Claims; Requires, rather than authorizes, parties in property insurance claim dispute to participate in mediation; provides that mediation is condition precedent to commencing litigation; provides that parties may mutually agree to conduct mediation by teleconference or other electronic means; requires all insureds, or their representatives, to personally attend mediation; revises & specifies duties relating to bearing certain costs of mediation; requires policyholder to provide insurer with any information & certain documents within specified timeframe after mediation is invoked; revises conditions under which policyholder has certain timeframe to rescind settlement. Nurse Registries; Provides that certain health care practitioners under contract with nurse registry are deemed independent contractors for purposes of provider reimbursements under Medicaid program; provides that such practitioners are not eligible for overtime or holiday pay.
