HRES 1173 is a procedural resolution that allows the House of Representatives to consider seven specific bills without certain procedural objections. It waives points of order against these bills and sets rules for debate and amendment, including one hour of divided debate on each bill. The bills cover topics such as prohibiting bans on lead ammunition on federal lands, changing mining claim regulations, reinstating mineral leases in the Superior National Forest, removing gray wolves from the endangered species list, withdrawing a conservation rule, approving oil and gas leasing program approvals, and adopting a definition of antisemitism for antidiscrimination enforcement. This resolution does not change policy but streamlines the legislative process for these bills.
