Shoreline Health Oversight, Restoration, Resilience, and Enhancement Act This bill provides for the development of water and water-related resources projects and activities with a particular emphasis on those carried out by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Among other things, the bill revises and modifies the flood mitigation and riverine restoration program to include coverage of coastal storm damage; authorizes the Corps to carry out specified water resources development and conservation projects in accordance with plans laid out in designated reports or decision documents; authorizes the Department of the Army to continue periodic nourishment for specified projects for coastal storm risk management for an additional period of 50 years; authorizes the Army to use funds for water resources development purposes to carry out, at full federal expense, a measure located on, or benefitting, federal land under the administrative jurisdiction of another federal agency under specified conditions; authorizes the Army to provide in advance the federal share of funds required for the acquisition of land, easements, and rights-of-way for, and the relocation of, certain projects; directs the Army to establish a program to provide environmental assistance to nonfederal interests in the Chattahoochee River Basin; and requires the Army to expedite the replacement of the Mississippi River mat sinking unit.

Violence Against Women Act Reauthorization Act of 2022 This bill modifies and reauthorizes through FY2027 programs and activities under the Violence Against Women Act that seek to prevent and respond to domestic violence, sexual assault, dating violence, and stalking. The bill also authorizes new programs, makes changes to federal criminal laws, and establishes new protections to promote housing stability and economic security for victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, dating violence, and stalking.
This resolution extends collective bargaining rights prescribed in the Congressional Accountability Act of 1995 to employees of the House of Representatives.
This resolution expresses that the House of Representatives (1) remains committed to nurturing the enduring ties between the people and the governments of the United States and Liberia; (2) encourages Liberia to redouble its efforts to counter corruption, advance the causes of human rights, and implement critical economic reforms necessary to accelerate sustainable economic growth and human capital development; (3) calls on the Departments of State and the Treasury to continue to impose targeted sanctions and other measures against those responsible for undermining the rule of law in Liberia and the faith and trust of the Liberian people; (4) recalls the significance of the bicentennial of the arrival of the first free Black American in Liberia; and (5) supports the continuing efforts and contributions of the Liberian diaspora in the United States.

America's Call To Improve Opportunities Now for National Service Act or the ACTION for National Service Act This bill (1) converts the Corporation for National and Community Service into the AmeriCorps Administration and revises its membership, leadership, and authority; (2) reauthorizes programs carried out by the administration; (3) establishes a National Service Foundation to accept and administer gifts on behalf of the administration; (4) modifies the calculation of national service educational awards; and (5) otherwise modifies provisions related to national and volunteer service programs. Additionally, the bill creates an interagency Civilian Climate Corps, operated by the administration, to conduct service projects addressing climate change.
Due Process Continuity of Care Act This bill allows an otherwise eligible individual who is in custody pending disposition of charges (i.e., pretrial detainees) to receive Medicaid benefits at the option of the state. The bill also provides funds for state planning grants to support the provision of such benefits.

Advancing Maternal Health Equity Under Medicaid Act This bill provides a 90% federal matching rate for Medicaid maternal health care expenditures that exceed 2021 levels. Qualifying services must be provided by maternity care providers or perinatal health workers (e.g., doulas) and include prenatal and postpartum telehealth services, home visits, and behavioral health care.
Scratch Cooked Meals for Students Act This bill establishes a pilot program to award competitive grants to school food authorities and local educational agencies for activities that promote the use of ingredients that are unprocessed or minimally processed (i.e., scratch cooking) in school meals.
