Officer Eugene Goodman Congressional Gold Medal Act This bill directs the Speaker of the House of Representatives and the President pro tempore of the Senate to arrange for the presentation of a Congressional Gold Medal to U.S. Capitol Police Officer Eugene Goodman for his actions to protect the Senate chamber during the security breach at the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021.

HRES 42: Amending the Rules of the House of Representatives to fine Members, Delegates, and the Resident Commissioner who do not wear masks in the Capitol complex.

This resolution requires a Member, Delegate, or Resident Commissioner of the House of Representatives to wear a mask in the Capitol complex until it is no longer recommended to do so by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. It also establishes a $1,000 fine for each violation of this requirement.

HRES 21: Calling on Vice President Michael R. Pence to convene and mobilize the principal officers of the executive departments of the Cabinet to activate section 4 of the 25th Amendment to declare President Donald J. Trump incapable of executing the duties of his office and to immediately exercise powers as acting President.

This resolution calls upon Vice President Michael R. Pence (1) to immediately use his powers under section 4 of the Twenty-fifth Amendment to convene and mobilize the principal officers of the executive departments to declare that the President is unable to successfully discharge the duties and powers of his office, and (2) to transmit to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House notice that he will be immediately assuming the powers and duties of the office as Acting President.

Require USCP to Utilize Body-Worn Cameras Act This bill requires each uniformed officer of the U.S. Capitol Police whose job duties include interacting with the general public to use a body-worn camera and ensure it is activated while on duty. This requirement does not apply to an officer serving on a personal protection detail.
