Educational equity: sex-segregated school programs and activities: sex at birth.

New subsection 221.5(f)(2) requires that a pupil's participation in sex-segregated school programs and activities, including athletic teams and competitions, be consistent with the pupil's sex at birth. This is the central policy change of the amendment.

Subsection (f) was restructured from a single paragraph into two numbered subsections. The original gender-identity-based participation language was retained as (f)(1), but the new (f)(2) imposes a sex-at-birth requirement that conflicts with and effectively supersedes it for participation purposes.

Multiple nonsubstantive corrections throughout the section, including removing redundant words (e.g., 'the this state' to 'this state', 'conducted, conducted' to 'conducted'), fixing pronoun references ('his or her the pupil's' to 'the pupil's'), and correcting 'parents parent' to 'parent'. The legislative digest was updated to describe the new substantive change.
