Electricity: wildfire mitigation: deenergization events and reliability.
What changed between versions
Section 2774.1(a)(4)(A) was changed from requiring the commission to determine whether annual reliability reports should include specific data (system-level reliability, census tract statistics, financial assistance customer statistics) to requiring a broader determination, as part of Rulemaking 24-05-023 or a successor proceeding, whether existing policies, procedures, and rules should be revised or enhanced. The consideration items now include tribal government impacts and updates to General Order 166 instead of the previous specific data categories.
The requirement that reliability metrics be reported with the worst performing circuits and include major event days (former subparagraph (B) of Section 2774.1(a)(4)) was removed from the annual reliability report provisions.
Section 8387.4(a) was changed from specifying exact content for post-deenergization event reports (time, place, duration, customer counts broken down by type and financial assistance status) to requiring reports that comply with whatever reporting requirements the commission establishes through Rulemaking 18-12-005 or a successor proceeding, plus any additional requirements from the Safety and Enforcement Division.
