Relative to COPD Awareness Month.

This House Resolution designates November 2025 as COPD Awareness Month in California. It recognizes the impact of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (a progressive lung condition affecting millions) and commends community organizations and agencies working to improve awareness and quality of life for people living with COPD. The resolution has no binding policy changes or funding mechanisms - it is purely commemorative. It was introduced by Assembly Member Carrillo and unanimously adopted by the California Assembly on September 8, 2025.
