Unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor.

Summary

Existing law makes it a crime, known as unlawful sexual intercourse, to commit an act of sexual intercourse with a person who is not the spouse of the perpetrator, if the person is a minor. Under existing law, if a person 21 years of age or older engages in an act of unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor who is under 16 years of age they are guilty of either a misdemeanor or a felony, as specified. This bill would prohibit a person convicted of this crime who is granted probation from completing community service at a school or location where children congregate.
