Radiologist assistants.

Summary
Existing law provides for the certification and regulation of radiologic technologists by the State Department of Public Health. Existing law authorizes the department to adopt regulations to implement those provisions, as specified. This bill would prohibit a person from holding themself out as a radiologist assistant unless the person meets specified requirements including examination and registration. The bill would prohibit a radiologist assistant from functioning in that capacity independent of a supervising radiologist and performing specified acts.
