Civil actions: Effect of death.
Summary
Existing law allows, after the death of a person who commenced an action or proceeding, the decedent's personal representative or, if none, the decedent's successor in interest to continue a pending action or proceeding that does not abate, as specified. This bill would make a technical, nonsubstantive change to that provision.
