Summary
Existing law, the Financial Institutions Law, requires the Commissioner of Financial Protection and Innovation to promptly advise the Attorney General whenever they are notified or discover a violation of the state law punishable by criminal penalties. This bill would make a nonsubstantive change to this provision.
