Critical care facilities.
Summary
Existing law requires the Emergency Medical Services Authority to develop and implement guidelines that address designated components for emergency medical services systems. Existing law allows the authority to establish guidelines for hospital facilities according to critical care capabilities in cooperation with affected medical organizations. This bill would make a technical, nonsubstantive change to this provision.
