California Transportation Commission: executive director.
Summary
Existing law establishes within the Transportation Agency the California Transportation Commission. Existing law requires the commission to appoint an executive director for the commission who serves at the pleasure of the commission. This bill would instead require the executive director of the commission to be appointed by the Governor, subject to confirmation by the Senate, and subject to removal at the discretion of the Governor.
