Veterans: California Central Coast Veterans Cemetery Advisory Committee.

Summary
Existing law requires the Secretary of the California Department of Veterans Affairs to establish the California Central Coast Veterans Cemetery Advisory Committee, to review proposals for the construction, placement, or donation of monuments or memorials to the Central Coast Veterans Cemetery. Existing law requires the committee to consist of one representative from the County of Monterey, one from the City of Seaside, one from the Fort Ord Reuse Authority, 2 from the Fort Ord Veterans Cemetery Citizens Advisory Committee, and at least 2 members from the department. This bill would remove the members from the Fort Ord Reuse Authority and the Fort Ord Veterans Cemetery Advisory Committee, and instead require the committee to have 3 representatives from local veterans' service organizations appointed by the secretary.
