Parole: sexually violent offenses: validated risk assessment.

Summary

Existing law grants the Board of Parole Hearings the power to grant parole to prisoners. This bill would, if an inmate has a prior conviction for a sexually violent offense, as defined, require the board to consider the results of a comprehensive risk assessment for sex offenders in considering parole.
