Older adults: health promotion.
Summary
Existing law establishes the State Department of Public Health and sets forth its powers and duties, including, but not limited to, jurisdiction over health promotion and preventive health services for older adults, as defined. Existing law requires the department to maintain a program to promote the availability of medical health care for the aging. This bill would make technical, nonsubstantive changes to those provisions.
