Local agencies: ordinances and resolutions.
Summary
Existing law specifies that when a county or city is required to take legislative action by resolution under statute, but is required under the local agency's charter to take legislative action by ordinance, action by ordinance is compliance with the statute for all purposes. This bill would make nonsubstantive changes to this provision.
