Summary
Existing law, the California Residential Mortgage Lending Act, regulates the business of making residential mortgage loans and servicing residential mortgage loans. Existing law prohibits a person from engaging in these activities without first obtaining a license from the Commissioner of Business Oversight. This bill would make nonsubstantive changes in these provisions.
