Residential care facilities for the elderly.
Summary
Existing law, the California Residential Care Facilities for the Elderly Act, provides for the licensure and regulation of residential care facilities for the elderly by the State Department of Social Services. A violation of these provisions is a misdemeanor. Existing law establishes specified rights for residents of residential care facilities for the elderly. This bill would make technical, nonsubstantive changes to a provision of the act.
