Clinics.
Summary
Under existing law, the State Department of Public Health is responsible for the licensing and regulation of clinics, defined as an organized outpatient health facility that provides direct specified advice, services, or treatment to patients who remain less than 24 hours, and that may also provide diagnostic or therapeutic services to patients in the home, as specified. This bill would make technical, nonsubstantive changes to that provision.
