Workers' compensation.

Summary
Existing law establishes a workers' compensation system, administered by the Administrative Director of the Division of Workers' Compensation, to compensate an employee for injuries sustained in the course of his or her employment. Existing workers' compensation law establishes requirements that govern, among other things, the certification of medical examination interpreters, dispute resolution processes for medical and billing disputes, and the allowance of liens against any sum to be paid as compensation. This bill would correct erroneous cross-references and make technical, clarifying, and conforming changes with respect to these provisions.
