University of California.

Existing law establishes the University of California, under the administration of the Regents of the University of California, as one of the segments of public postsecondary education in this state. Existing law provides that the name "University of California" is the property of the state, and prohibits a person, without permission of the regents, from using that name in any of various ways. This bill would make technical, nonsubstantive changes in the provisions relating to the use of the name "University of California."
