Sexual harassment: interns.
Summary
Existing law provides that a person can be liable for sexual harassment in specified business, service, or professional relationships between a plaintiff and a defendant. This bill would provide that a person acting in a supervisory capacity relative to an intern, as defined, can be liable for sexual harassment of an intern.
