Probation: statewide database.

Summary
Existing law requires the Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation to be the primary agency responsible for the Law Enforcement Automated Data System, a database that provides information to local law enforcement agencies regarding an inmate on parole or postrelease community supervision. This bill would state that it is the intent of the Legislature to enact legislation to create a statewide database comprised of individuals on probation.
