Community college employees: apprenticeship instructors: qualifications.

Summary

Existing law establishes the California Community Colleges, under the administration of the Board of Governors of the California Community Colleges, as one of the segments of public postsecondary education in this state. Existing law requires the board of governors to adopt regulations concerning the minimum qualifications for employment in the community colleges as an apprenticeship instructor. This bill would provide additional ways for a person to satisfy the minimum qualifications required to serve as an apprenticeship instructor teaching a credit apprenticeship course at a community college.
