SB 1361 California Senate · 2011-2012 Regular Session

State summary criminal history information.

Summary
Existing law requires the Department of Justice to maintain the state summary criminal history information of any person, and limits the dissemination of that information to persons authorized by law to receive the record or information obtained from the record. Existing law makes it a misdemeanor for a person authorized to receive the state criminal history information to furnish the information to an unauthorized person. This bill would make a technical, nonsubstantive change to these provisions.
