Summary
Existing law regulates the sale, purchase, or offer for sale of various appliances and devices, including heating appliances and automatic garage door openers. This bill would require a plastic pipe or plastic pipe fitting to be used for venting hot gases from a tankless water heater only if that pipe or pipe fitting meets specified certification requirements.
