State Department of State Hospitals.

Summary
Existing law provides for state hospitals for the care, treatment, and education of mentally disordered persons, which are under the jurisdiction of the State Department of State Hospitals. This bill would make technical, nonsubstantive changes to various provisions of law to, in part, delete obsolete references to the State Department of Mental Health. This bill would appropriate the sum of $1,000 from the General Fund to the State Department of State Hospitals for administration. This bill would declare that it is to take effect immediately as a bill providing for appropriations related to the Budget Bill.
