Public higher education: training programs at military facilities.

Existing law establishes the University of California, the California State University, and the California Community Colleges as the 3 segments of public postsecondary education in this state. Existing law states that nothing in the public policy of the state requires the establishment or disestablishment of any United States Armed Forces training unit or class at any campus of a public institution of higher education. This bill would declare that nothing in the law of the state prohibits the University of California, the California State University, or the California Community Colleges from coordinating with the United States Armed Forces to establish training programs at military facilities.
