School facilities: district deferred maintenance fund.
Summary
Existing law authorizes the governing board of a school district to establish a restricted fund to be known as the district deferred maintenance fund, for the purpose of major repair or maintenance of school facilities including, among other things, major repair or replacement of electrical systems. This bill would define the term "electrical" for these purposes and other related provisions.
