Inmates: identification card numbers.
Summary
Existing law provides that after inmates are released from the Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, they are generally placed on parole, as specified. This bill would require the Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation to provide each inmate, prior to his or her release, with the inmate's identification card number or driver's license number, if one is in the inmates central file.
