Alternative teaching certificate.

The bill was finalized and enrolled as Act No. 72, moving from Senate File SF0086 to its final legislative form. The most significant substantive change is to the alternative teacher certification requirements, which now allow programs to be either accredited or non-accredited if approved by the board, and explicitly requires passage of four examinations (subject area, pedagogy, U.S. Constitution, and Wyoming Constitution). The previous requirement that alternative certification programs operate in at least five states and have certified at least 10,000 teachers was removed, making the certification pathway more accessible to new programs. The effective date provision was retained, stating the law takes effect upon completion of all necessary legislative steps.
