SF 22 Wyoming House · 2022 Regular Session

Utility trailers-permanent registration.

This bill allows owners of utility trailers at least 11 years old to permanently register them instead of paying annual fees. Owners pay a one-time $87.50 administration fee plus applicable title and registration fees (or five times the annual fee for specialty plates), after which they no longer pay yearly registration costs. The permanent registration is tied to the trailer, not the owner, so if sold, the new owner must re-register under standard rules. It directly affects owners of older utility trailers who currently pay annual registration fees under Wyoming law.
