Virginia Birth-Related Neurological Injury Compensation Act; publication of disciplinary actions; award eligibility.Requires, to the extent permissible by state and federal law, theBoard of Medicine to publish on its website disciplinary action takenagainst a physician as a result of an investigation under the VirginiaBirth-Related Neurological Injury Compensation Act (the Act). Thebill also permits compensation under the Act for birth-related neurologicalinjury deaths occurring up to a person's eighteenth birthday; currentlaw limits awards to such deaths occurring during the person's infancy.
