Makesseveral changes related to electric personal delivery devices, includingchanging the term used to refer to such devices to "personal deliverydevices" and changing the weight limit of such devices from 50 to200 pounds. The bill eliminates the ability of localities to regulateor prohibit the use of personal delivery devices on sidewalks, crosswalks,or roadways. The bill also changes the restriction on the transportof hazardous materials by a personal delivery device to only limitthe transport of hazardous materials in a form and quantity thatwould pose an unreasonable risk to health, safety, or property.
