Department of Education; behavioral assessmentsand interventions. Directs the Department of Education to reviewand revise the Guidelines for Conducting Functional Behavioral Assessmentand Developing Positive Behavior Intervention Supports and Strategiesto align with research-based behavior science and best practicesfor functional behavior analysis. The bill also requires the Departmentto review and revise the content of the in-depth training providedto local school divisions on conducting functional behavioral analysisand developing quality behavior intervention plans.
